Jani Matti Juhani will release a trilogy of singles in April, continuing his exploration of Finnish-language schlager and revisiting musical memories from the past. The trilogy also launches a new Iskelmää series, serving as a spiritual continuation of his Elvistä suomeksi album trilogy (2019–2025).
The first single, “Lumilintu,” will be released on April 2. The track is a Finnish adaptation by Chrisse Johansson of “Snowbird,” originally composed by Gene MacLellan. The release features guest appearances by Helmi Ada and Jussi Suonikko.

The trilogy concludes with “En koskaan,” a Finnish version of the evergreen “You Don’t Have to Say You Love Me,” released on April 16—the birthday of one of the song’s most iconic performers, Dusty Springfield. The track features a duet with Henna Emilia Hietamäki, with Ville Lehtovaara on drums.

All songs in the trilogy originate from the recording sessions of Jani Matti Juhani’s previous album, Jani Matti Juhani laulaa Elvistä suomeksi Vol. 3. However, the new Iskelmää series moves beyond Elvis Presley and expands toward the broader musical spirit of the 1960s and 1970s. Translation covers currently in progress include material by David Bowie, Nancy Sinatra, The Monkees, Uriah Heep, The Beatles, and Slade.
